Help Control Invasive Species

Do you know there are many plants in our area that can hurt you or your pets? Along with poison ivy and poison oak, there is wild parsnip and many other invasive plants in our township. Many are along the waterways as well as on the land.

There are many opportunities for you to help control invasive plant species in the Town. Organizations such as the Upper Sugar River Watershed Association and the Dane County Parks System are always looking for assistance in dealing with these plants.

Download our flyer for tips on identifying and removing wild parsnip, which also contains links to sites on other invasive species.
