Established in 1847, the Town of Verona is a local unit of government within the County of Dane in the southern part of the state of Wisconsin. The Town is on the southwestern edge of Madison — Wisconsin's State Capital. The town of Verona has an estimated 2017 population of 1,981 and is part of the Verona Area School District.

MG&E to Install a New Gas Main

Madison Gas and Electric Company (MGE) plans to install a new natural gas main in the south road right-of-way along Sunset Drive form Borchert Road to Range Trial. The project is proposed to be constructed between July 15th and September 15th, 2013. Property owners along the line have been notified as of July 11th. If you did not recieve a notification please contact Steve Beversdorf with MGE at 252-1552.
