Established in 1847, the Town of Verona is a local unit of government within the County of Dane in the southern part of the state of Wisconsin. The Town is on the southwestern edge of Madison — Wisconsin's State Capital. The town of Verona has an estimated 2017 population of 1,981 and is part of the Verona Area School District.

Town Budget Hearing – November 17th at 7 p.m.

Come learn about the Town’s priorities for 2016 and how next year’s budget addresses them. A public hearing on the town budget will be held on Tuesday, November 17th at 7:00 p.m. at Town Hall (335 N. Nine Mound Rd.) The meeting agenda is below along with a copy of the 2016 budget summary. Give Input on a City/Town Boundary Agreement

The City and Town of Verona will host an open house on Tuesday, November 10th starting at 6:30pm at the Verona Fire Station located at 101 Lincoln Street to discuss the draft components of a City/Town boundary agreement. The purpose of the agreement is to create predictability for development in both jurisdictions. The open house will begin at 6:30pm and will include a brief presentation. Following the presentation, City and Town Staff will be available to answer any questions from the public and to hear feedback. Anyone interested in this draft agreement is encouraged to attend and provide input.
