2016 Annual Town Meeting Notice

The Town of Verona Annual Meeting will be next, Tuesday, April 19th at 7:00 p.m. at the  Town Hall.   All electors of the Town are welcome to participate in the discussion and action process.

The  annual town meeting is a tradition that takes place on the 3rd Tuesday of April every year. Unlike a regular town board meeting or even a community meeting, the annual meeting is a grass roots event that involves motions and voting by the residents. For that reason, there is not a defined agenda set by the Board.  Instead, as the notice below indicates, there will be a presentation on the proposed Town hall and maintenance facility that will include potential financing options. After that presentation, the floor will be open to action by residents on any matter allowed by law.
