We have great news to share!! Crews are moving to the next phase of road construction – PAVING for the portion of Sunset Dr (from Range Trail east to CTH PB) as well as Horseshoe Bend.
Paving work is expected to start early at 7:00am Tuesday. Minor traffic disruption should be expected during pavement installation; however when the contractor begins paving, there could be no access to your driveway. Gravel patches, dust and rough road will also be present at times.
Construction activities will clearly cause some short-term inconveniences and nuisances. It is our attention to minimize these inconveniences and nuisances as much as practically possible. Your patience and cooperation during construction is greatly appreciated.
Please keep pets and children away from the construction activities and the hot asphalt.
There may be no mail delivery on the day of paving. The post office is open till 5:30pm if you wish to stop by on your way home. Otherwise, mail delivery will continue as usual on Wednesday.
Residents who live in the Goose Lake Dr area — your start date has been moved to after July 4th. This will allow no traffic impacts and rough road during the holiday weekend.
Questions ??? or special emergency medical-related access needs, please contact Ron Lease – Town of Verona Road Project Manager at 608.338.3626.
Please continue to pay attention and drive with caution through all work zones.
