Established in 1847, the Town of Verona is a local unit of government within the County of Dane in the southern part of the state of Wisconsin. The Town is on the southwestern edge of Madison — Wisconsin's State Capital. The town of Verona has an estimated 2017 population of 1,981 and is part of the Verona Area School District.

N. Nine Mound Road and Northern Lights will be closed this weekend beginning

Saturday 6am – 08.13.16 thru Sunday 6pm – 08.14.16 for the completion of pavement markings.

The City of Verona had officially renamed N. Nine Mound Road (from Cross Country Road to CTH PD) to Northern Lights Road.  The old N. Nine Mound Road is now a dead end street and that portion will retain the old name.

  • Northern Lights will be closed from the Epic Contractors Entrance (T-intersection just south of the of N. Nine Mound Road Intersection) to CTH PD.
  •  N. Nine Mound Road will be closed from Cross Country Road to Northern Lights, approximately 1000-ft section.  Local access to the residences of 2700, 2730, and 2754 N. Nine Mound Road will be accessible for emergency services and local traffic only.
