Monthly Archives: October 2019

Saturday October 26, 2019 from 10am-2pm the City of Verona Police Department is partnering with Safe Communities

to host “Drug Take-Back Event “ in the parking lot  at the City of Verona Police Department – 111 Lincoln Street.

Will accept unused, unwanted or expired prescription drug medications.

The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked.

Like spring cleaning, this is an excellent way to clean out the medicine cabinet.

This is especially important if you have an old prescription of opioids, benzodiazepines, or other highly addictive medications in your home.

Studies have shown that most addicts obtain their medications from a friend or family members, especially by searching through medicine cabinets.

Bring in your medications in their original prescription bottles to be emptied at the Verona Police Department and properly destroyed.
