Established in 1847, the Town of Verona is a local unit of government within the County of Dane in the southern part of the state of Wisconsin. The town is on the southwestern edge of Madison — Wisconsin's state capital. The town of Verona has an estimated 2016 population of 1,975 and is part of the Verona Area School District.

Another Report of Rash of Car Break-ins.

We’ve gotten reports that there was a rash of car break-ins in the Hillside Heights neighborhood – Wednesday night – July 12, 2017.  Cash was taken from several unlocked cars.

We had some other thefts in other parts of the Town in May 2017.  We don’t know if these are related, but please remember to lock your car doors and don’t keep valuables in your car.
