Comprehensive Plan Amendment Hearing

At the regular Town Board meeting on March 3rd, 2015, a public hearing will be held for a proposed comprehensive plan ammendment. The intent of the ammendment is to take away a neighborhood plan boundary shown in the 2006 plan and add 198 acres into a farmland preservation area. A map and body of a resolution detailing the reasons for the amendment are below.

Interested persons may submit comments in writing or speak at the public hearing. Comments and questions should be forwarded to Amanda Arnold, Planner/Administrator, 335 N. Nine Mound Road, Verona, WI 53593 or aarnold@town.verona.wi.us. The Town Board’s decision will be forwarded to Dane County for further action.

If an interpreter, materials in alternate formats, or other accommodations are needed, please contact the town hall at 608-845-7187 forty-eight hours before the meeting.
