The Fitch-Rona EMS staff has offered to provide free training on CPR and use of a defibrillator at the Verona Town Hall on Saturday, March 10th at 10 a.m.
We want to make sure we’re prepared if someone should go into cardiac arrest at the Town Hall, but it’s also important to note that 70 percent of out-of-hospital cardiac arrests happen in homes. Statistically speaking, if you are called on to give CPR in an emergency, you will most likely be trying to save the life of someone you love: a spouse, a parent, a child or a friend. In as little as 15 minutes, the Fitch-Rona EMS paramedics will teach you how to do hands-only CPR and use an AED (a defibrillator).
Don’t miss this important chance to get this potentially lifesaving information.
