The Town of Verona is
located in the
southern part of the state of Wisconsin. As a local unit
of government within the County of Dane, the town is
on the southwestern edge of
the state
capital – Madison – The population
is 1,.948
The Town of Verona
Subdivision and Land
Development and the
Comprehensive Land Use
Plan is available for
download in PDF format.
The 05-06 revisions
consist of an updated
land use mapping effort
and rewording of the
Housing and land Use
Elements. The Open Space
and Parks Commission
Plan will include an
updated document in
2007. Currently a
draft of the
proposed mapping is
available for review -
the finished product for
both the mapping and the
plan will be considered
and approved sometime in
2007
The Town Board
has adopted the Grandview/Fitchrona
neighborhood plan as an
amendment to the Town of
Verona Comprehensive
Plan noted as appendix
G.
The members
of the Town
Plan
Commission
is
undertaking
revisions to
the
subdivision
and
development
ordinance to
reflect
edits of the
revisions to
the Town of
Verona
Comprehensive
Plan and to
incorporate
the changes
in the state
law
regarding
certified
survey maps
and platting
procedures
