Established in 1847, the Town of Verona is a local unit of government within the County of Dane in the southern part of the state of Wisconsin. The Town is on the southwestern edge of Madison — Wisconsin's State Capital. The town of Verona has an estimated 2017 population of 1,981 and is part of the Verona Area School District.

Monday – Feb 20th at 6:30pm Dane County will

hold a meeting related to the comprehensive revision of their zoning code. This will be a committee meeting held at the new town hall, but the public is welcome to attend. The topic will be potential changes to the Rural Mixed (A-2, A-3, A-Ba) and Rural Residential (RH) Districts. The meeting will start at 6:30 p.m.

A possible quorum of the Town of Verona Board of Supervisors, Plan Commission and/or Public Works, Ordinance, Natural and Recreational Areas, and Financial Sustainability Committees could occur at this meeting.
