The
Town of Verona Board is committed to
providing services to
the Town's older
citizens. Please
contact the Town
Office or
call 845-7187 for the
meals delivery program.
The Town has completed
it's arrangements with
the County of Dane and
is now a part of the
Belleville Senior Citizen Programs for
case management.
Opportunities to provide
driver assistance and
meal deliveries are
available.

PUBLIC WORKS

ROAD CLOSED - when this
sign appears on roadways
it is for a specific
purpose and that is to
minimize risk to
not only citizens but
also Town staff, private
contractors and their
employees.
PLEASE give
consideration to the
signage and the workers |
The town road crew
members will perform
various road way
maintenance to include
spring road side clean
up, repair of divots due
to winter snow plowing,
roadside mowing to
consist of a first pass
by Memorial Day and
follow-up mowing as the
summer growing season
progresses.
Patching of pavement
will take place as
needed. An
emphasis this summer
will be improvement of
roadside ditches to
ensure the efficient
flow of spring and
summer rainfall.

ROAD CONSTRUCTION
2011
|
|
With the passage of the
2011 budget - the Town
Board will authorize
projects early May of
2011.
Under consideration
will be maintenance
treatments as in the
painting centerlines on
the roadways, seal coat
applications with pea
gravel and a slurry seal
coating to preserve the
existing pavement.
Additional consideration
will be given to the
reconditioning of a
paved roadway yet to be
determined. |

inspector maintains
office hours on MONDAYS
from 9 - 11 a.m. The

all building inspections
and related matters is
608-209-3907. Calls will
be taken between the
hours of 8:00 a.m. and
4:00 p.m. |
