Maintenance of the
streambeds
The Open Space and
Parks Commission is a
five-member commission
created in 2000 by
Ordinance 2000 - 02. Its
mission is to identify,
protect and preserve
natural resources in the
Town of Verona for the
purpose of ecological
health, and for the
recreation and enjoyment
by present and future
generations.
Members of the OSPC are
nominated by the chair
of the Town Board and
confirmed by the entire
Board. The OSPC reports
directly to the Town
Board, and also provides
reviews and assistance
to the Town Plan
Commission on issues or
areas referenced in the
OSPC plan. |
