Established in 1847, the Town of Verona is a local unit of government within the County of Dane in the southern part of the state of Wisconsin. The Town is on the southwestern edge of Madison — Wisconsin's State Capital. The town of Verona has an estimated 2017 population of 1,981 and is part of the Verona Area School District.

Several Town Meetings for Week of April 24th to include

Tuesday, the 25th at 7:00 a.m. – Public Works Committee
Wednesday, the 26th at 7:00 p.m. – Joint City/Town Planning Committee
Thursday, the 27th at 6:00 p.m. – Town of Verona Plan Commission

 

Please note that we have a special presentation from the Capital Area Plan Commission scheduled for our Plan Commission. If you’re interested in regional planning issues you might want to attend this information session.

 

Also, if you live near the intersection of Highway M and PD, you might want to attend a City of Madison information session to be held at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday the 26th at Chavez Elementary.
