Established in 1847, the Town of Verona is a local unit of government within the County of Dane in the southern part of the state of Wisconsin. The Town is on the southwestern edge of Madison — Wisconsin's State Capital. The town of Verona has an estimated 2018 population of 1,982 and is part of the Verona Area School District.

Town of Verona Utility District Commission Approves 2019 Utility District Budget

At a Public Hearing held November 20, 2018, the Utility Commission approved no rate increase over the prior year rates.  Because no rate increase was approved, Ordinance 1991-01 did not need amendment, so there was no Special Town Board meeting following the Utility Commission meeting and Public Hearing.
