Established in 1847, the Town of Verona is a local unit of government within the County of Dane in the southern part of the state of Wisconsin. The Town is on the southwestern edge of Madison — Wisconsin's State Capital. The town of Verona has an estimated 2017 population of 1,981 and is part of the Verona Area School District.

Town residents wanting to get on the ballot for the 2018 Spring Election, will need to

start circulating nomination papers between December 1, 2017 and file by 5pm on Tuesday – Jan 2, 2018.

On April 3, 2018 there will be an election held in the Town of Verona for the offices

of 3rd Supervisor – Manfred Enburg and 4th Supervisor – Doug Maxwell.
