Established in 1847, the Town of Verona is a local unit of government within the County of Dane in the southern part of the state of Wisconsin. The Town is on the southwestern edge of Madison — Wisconsin's State Capital. The town of Verona has an estimated 2018 population of 1,982 and is part of the Verona Area School District.

Wisconsin Department of Transportation provides updates to State Highway 69 reconstruction

On May 30, 2019, several Wisconsin DOT engineers provided updated timelines and the scope of the reconstruction and realignment of sections of STH 69 between Paoli in the Town of Montrose and the Town of Verona south of Pine Row Road.  The following document contains those details: May 30, 2019 DOT Presentation.
