Established in 1847, the Town of Verona is a local unit of government within the County of Dane in the southern part of the state of Wisconsin. The Town is on the southwestern edge of Madison — Wisconsin's State Capital. The town of Verona has an estimated 2019 population of 1,998 and is part of the Verona Area School District.

Thank you for your patience as the Town has been working out a plan for how to deal with the debris from Monday night’s storm. As you may know, the Town does not have regular yard waste pick up, so we’ve had to develop a plan for this situation.
Right now the Town is working with the City of Verona to remove trees from Cross Country Rd, which is the hardest hit road. In the coming days, the Town staff will work on brush pick up on the side streets in that area (Hula Dr., Cross Country Circle, and Startdust Trail).

NOTICE IS GIVEN that a public hearing will be held at the Town
of Verona Hall, 335 N. Nine Mound Rd. on Tuesday, May 7. The meeting
will begin at 6:30 p.m. The following matters will be heard:
An appeal of the building code requirement related to fencing around a pool to be located at 7459 Oak Hill Court.
Interested persons may submit comments in writing before the meeting or provide verbal comments
at the meeting. Written comments should
be mailed to the Town of Verona, 335
N. Nine Mound Road, Verona, WI 53593. Written comments will be read aloud and
entered into the record. Members of the Town Board will consider possible
action upon conclusion of the public hearing.
