Established in 1847, the Town of Verona is a local unit of government within the County of Dane in the southern part of the state of Wisconsin. The Town is on the southwestern edge of Madison — Wisconsin's State Capital. The town of Verona has an estimated 2019 population of 1,998 and is part of the Verona Area School District.

Holiday Tree Drop Off Ends Jan 21, 2017 … Trees without tinsel, decorations

bags or stands can be dropped off and placed in the outdoor collection bin

located behind the Public Works Building at 7669 County Highway PD.


Pellitteri WILL NOT pick up trees left at the curb or road side.

Dane County Cultural Affairs Commission has released its 2018 Art Calendar.

This is the nineteenth edition of Dane County’s  annual art calendar.

This year features – The Urban and Rural Narrative of Dane County.


The cover of the 2018 Dane Arts Calendar is “A Madison Summer,” by Karen Watson-Newlin.


Check out more of Karen Watson-Newlin Prairie artwork on display in the Town Hall Community Room.

The (4) paintings demonstrate seasonal scenes of the uniqueness in the Prairie  – Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter.  You will want to linger.

TAXPAYER NOTICE – 2017 Town of Verona Property Tax Bills were mailed

Tuesday – Dec 12, 2017 . All Tax and Dog License Payments will be accepted ONLY
at the 7769 County Highway PD location. Current year tax information is not yet available on Access Dane.
