Town Office Closed, Wednesday, Jan 1st

The Town Hall will be closed on Wednesday, January 1st, in honor of New Years Day. 


We are open 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. the other days this week. 

Town Office Closed December 24th and 25th

The Town of Verona office will be closed on Tuesday, December 24, 2019 and Wednesday, December 25, 2019.  Tax payments and payments for dog licenses can be left in our secured drop box in the vestibule.  Tax payments need to be accompanied by your payment stub and dog license payments need to be accompanied by a completed application form and a SASE.  Our office will open again on Thursday, December 26, 2019 at 8:00 AM.

Two Town Board Positions Up For Election

Two Town of Verona Board of Supervisor positions are up for election on April 7, 2020 (Third and Fourth Supervisor). One incumbent is running and the other is not. If you’d like to run, you can find all the necessary paperwork (Declaration of Candidacy, Nomination Paper, and Registration Statement) here: Additional forms are necessary if you plan to spend over $1000 on your campaign. Town of Verona Seeking Administrator/Planner

The Town of Verona is seeking an Administrator/Planner to lead the Town’s operations. Duties will include communicating the Town Board, staff, and public; providing overall administration of the Town’s daily operations; facilitating strategic planning; managing the Town’s budget; and coordinating land use. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Land Use Planning or related field, although equivalent experience will be considered. A minimum of five years’ work experience that includes management and computer experience required. Salary commensurate with experience, full benefit package available. The position offers the opportunity to work in a beautiful new Town Hall with an active Town Board and eager staff. A full job description is below. Woods Road will be CLOSED starting Monday – December 16th at 7am for two weeks.

  • Woods Road near the intersection of Woods Road and CTH PD
  • Median westbound lane of CTH PD between Woods Road and east of Good Shepherd Church driveway

The closure is for utility work associated with the CTH PD roadway expansion project.


  • Woods Road will be closed starting Monday December 16, 2019 at 7am for two weeks.
  • CTH PD median westbound lane of CTH PD between Woods Road and east of Good Shepherd Church driveway starting Tuesday December 17, 2019 at 7am for three days.
  • This schedule is weather dependent and please watch for portable changeable message system along the roadway for updates.

Detour Route:

  • Woods Road Northbound traffic –
    • Continue east on CTH PD to CTH M
    • CTH M to Midtown Road
    • Midtown Road to Woods Road
  • Woods Road southbound traffic –
    • Midtown Road to CTH M
    • CTH M to CTH PD
    • CTH PD to west, continue on CTH PD towards intersection of Woods Road
