Established in 1847, the Town of Verona is a local unit of government within the County of Dane in the southern part of the state of Wisconsin. The Town is on the southwestern edge of Madison — Wisconsin's State Capital. The town of Verona has an estimated 2019 population of 1,998 and is part of the Verona Area School District.

2020 Assessment Roll Available for Review

Although the Town of Verona offices will remain closed to the public until May 27, 2020 during the Safer at Home period, the assessment roll and appeal materials are available on our website.  The Town’s contracted assessor, Nick Laird, will conduct the Open Book on May 22, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.  To schedule an appointment to meet with the assessor, call Associated Appraisal at 920-749-1995 or email Nick at: info.apraz@gmail.com.  A printed and posted copy of the assessment roll has been available at the Town Offices, 7669 CTH PD, Verona and online since April 30, 2020.  Assessor will mail Notices of Assessment between May 4th -7th, 2020 for those properties for which the assessed values have changed since last year.
