Public Health of Madison & Dane County extend the Safer at Home Order

Although the State of Wisconsin Supreme Court ruled yesterday against the extension of the Safer at Home Order from the Governor’s Office, the Department of Public Health for Madison & Dane County adopted their own County-wide order to continue the Safer at Home Order.  Details can be found in the attachment below.

2020 Board of Review

The 2020 Board of Review for all personal and real property has been scheduled for Thursday, June 4, 2020 beginning at 6:00 PM.  The Safer at Home Order is scheduled to expire on May 26, 2020, so the Board of Review can be conducted in person.  Social distancing and face masks will be strongly encouraged to ensure safety.

2020 Assessment Roll Available for Review

Although the Town of Verona offices will remain closed to the public until May 27, 2020 during the Safer at Home period, the assessment roll and appeal materials are available on our website.  The Town’s contracted assessor, Nick Laird, will conduct the Open Book on May 22, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.  To schedule an appointment to meet with the assessor, call Associated Appraisal at 920-749-1995 or email Nick at:  A printed and posted copy of the assessment roll has been available at the Town Offices, 7669 CTH PD, Verona and online since April 30, 2020.  Assessor will mail Notices of Assessment between May 4th -7th, 2020 for those properties for which the assessed values have changed since last year.
