Established in 1847, the Town of Verona is a local unit of government within the County of Dane in the southern part of the state of Wisconsin. The Town is on the southwestern edge of Madison — Wisconsin's State Capital. The town of Verona has an estimated 2019 population of 1,998 and is part of the Verona Area School District.

Annual Town Meeting Postponed to July 14th 2020

The Annual Town Meeting, regularly scheduled for April 21st at 7pm has been rescheduled to July 14th 2020.

A Message from Town Chair, Mark Geller:

Under the new 2019 Wisconsin Act 185, as the Town Chair, I have the authority to postpone the Annual Town Meeting to a date no less than 61 days from May 12th 2020.  The Annual Town meeting will therefore be held on July 14th, 2020.  Please let me know if you have any questions.
