Town of Verona Weekly Update September 9 2022
Town of Verona Brush Drop-Off Program - The Pilot program begins tomorrow on September 10, 2022. The drop-off site is located at the Town Public Works Garage site at 7669 County Highway PD and residents may drop off one load for $25 dollars. Vouchers must be purchased in advance. The Town of Verona will be hosting a free Public Presentation on Local Land Use Planning and the CARPC Regional Development Framework Report tomorrow on September 10th, 2022 at Verona Town Hall, 7669 County Highway PD, Verona WI, starting at 10am. Presenters will be Brian Ohm, a professor in the Department of Planning & Landscape Architecture at UW-Madison and the state specialist in planning law for the UW-Madison, Division of Extension, and Steve Steinhoff, CARPC Agency Director | Director of Community and Regional Development Planning. Lunch will be provided.
Ironman Wisconsin will be held this Sunday on September 11th 2022. The bike portion of the event utilizes several Town Roads so please plan accordingly. More information can be found here.
