Established in 1847, the Town of Verona is a local unit of government within the County of Dane in the southern part of the state of Wisconsin. The Town is on the southwestern edge of Madison — Wisconsin's State Capital. The town of Verona has an estimated 2019 population of 1,998 and is part of the Verona Area School District.

Town Hall Closed for Non-Essential Services Until Further Notice

Most public-facing services at the Town Hall such as the walk-up counter and other public spaces will closed to public visitor access until further notice. Public visitors will still be allowed for the purpose of VOTING AND VOTER REGISTRATION. 

  • The Town Hall will remain open to internal staff for internal business operations.
  • Social distancing and minimizing travel can have a major impact in delaying the epidemic. Using prevention,  the spread of the disease can be slowed to protect the most vulnerable.
