The Town of Verona is accepting seasonal applications for Seasonal Snow Plow Operators
Minimum Salary: $18.00 to $21.00 per hour depending on experience
Closing Date: Open Until Filled
Duties: Snow Plow Operators are responsible for snow and ice removal on Town of Verona roads during inclement weather. Duties may include completing general maintenance assignments. Training will be provided.
Hours: The hours needed may vary on an as-needed basis and may be limited to response for snow removal operations only. Total working hours will be weather dependent on winter conditions. Individuals must and be available to respond with a two-hour notice.
General Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age and have the ability to operate heavy equipment. Must have a valid Class A or Class B commercial driver’s license (CDL).
Employee will be subject to pre-employment, random, reasonable suspicion, post-accident, follow-up accident, and return-to-duty drug and alcohol testing. Offers of employment are conditional upon successful completion of a drug screening.
