Town Road Construction Updates

All of the roads slated for improvements in 2023 (Range Trail, Borchert, Purcell, Bartlett, Beach, Red Stone, Dairy Ridge, Maple Grove, Whalen and Jeffy Trail) have been completed and final road striping is expected to be performed on Monday August 14, 2023.

Valley Road Bridge Construction Project

Work is progressing on the Valley Road Bridge over the Sugar River. Depending on weather conditions, the bridge is expected to open the week of August 21, 2023. The patience of all motorists, cyclists, canoeists and kayakers has been greatly appreciated.

US 18/151 Project from Mount Horeb to Madison

The weekly construction update can be found here. Motorists are advised to leave early as there are slowdowns in the area, especially during peak travel periods. When approaching the work zone slow down, stay alert for workers and keep the phone down.  As noted in the attached weekly update, please be aware that the speed limit has been changed to 55 mph through the work zone.
