Town of Verona Weekly Update February 17th 2023

Spring Primary
The Spring Primary Election is on Tuesday, February 21. Residents may vote from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. The final day of in-person absentee voting is on Friday, February 17 from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. There is no in-person absentee voting the Monday before Election Day.
All absentee ballots must be postmarked no later than February 21 or dropped off in person at Town Hall by 8:00 p.m. on election day.
Construction Notification – WIS 69
The next phase of the WIS 69 construction project is anticipated to begin Monday, March 6 and completed in October 2023. Construction will occur on WIS 69 from County Highway D in Belleville to County Highway PB in Paoli.
A meeting for residents and business is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 28, at the Montrose Town Hall in Paoli. The construction team will present the construction schedule and will be available to answer questions.
During construction of WIS 69, through traffic will be closed and detoured via WIS 92, WIS 78, and US Hwy 18/151. The road will be open from County PB in Paoli to Verona.
