Town of Verona Weekly Update June 30 2023

Town Hall will be closed on July 3rd and 4th.

The Town Board will be meeting on July 5th.  The agenda can be found here. 

Pellitteri will be operating trash and recycling services as usual on Monday July 3rd. 

Town Road Construction Updates

Town Road paving was completed on Whalen Road, Beach Road, Bartlett Court, Red Stone Lane and Jeffy Trail this week.  Chip sealing on these roads will begin Mid-July.

On Monday June 26th, the City of Verona construction of Whalen Road began near Liberty Drive.  This work will close Whalen Road to all through traffic and motorists are advised to use the posted detour route to CTH M.   This construction project is expected to last through early September.

Valley Road Bridge Construction Project

Valley Road is closed for the purposes of bridge reconstruction.  More information can be found here.

County Highway PD Construction Update

US 18/151 Project from Mount Horeb to Madison

The weekly construction update can be found here. Motorists are advised to leave early as there are slowdowns in the area, especially during peak travel periods. When approaching the work zone slow down, stay alert for workers and keep the phone down.  As noted in the attached weekly update, please be aware that the speed limit has been changed to 55 mph through the work zone.
