Verona Downtown Farmers Market

The 2023 Verona Farmers Market will be held Wednesdays May 3 through October 4 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.  The Market is located in the City of Verona at Hometown Junction Park, 101 W. Railroad Street.  More information is available here.

Madison Metropolitan Sewerage District (MMSD) staff have reviewed alternatives and now recommend discontinuing the discharge to Badger Mill Creek to comply with phosphorus standards. Members of the public can submit written comments to the MMSD Commission by May 8 and can testify at a public hearing on May 11. On March 6, the Town Board approved a resolution 2023-01 addressing the possible redirection of MMSD Flow from Badger Mill Creek to Badfish Creek. The resolution is here.
