Notification of Noncandidacy (EL-163) The deadline to file if you are not planning to run for office is December 22, 2023 at 5:00 pm. 

Candidates may begin circulating nomination papers on December 1, 2023. 

Deadline to submit nomination papers is January 2, 2024 by 5:00 pm.

Following the submittal of all forms to the Clerk’s Office, the forms will be checked for validity. Candidates are strongly urged to obtain more than the minimum number of signatures required for ballot status in case a deficiency is found with any signatures. If a potential candidate does not submit all necessary forms and an adequate number of nomination signatures by 5 p.m. on January 2, 2024, their name will not be placed on the ballot.
