Voter Registration

Who needs to register to vote?

If you have changed addresses or changed names since the last time you voted, you MUST re-register with the Town of Verona. If you are a NEW Wisconsin Voter (you have never voted in Wisconsin before), you must register with the Town of Verona. The state of Wisconsin has a residency requirement of 28 days prior to the election.

What documents are required in order to register to vote?

If you have been issued a Wisconsin Driver's License, you must provide this number on the registration application form. If you have not been issued a Wisconsin Driver's License, you may use the last four digits of your social security number. It is not acceptable to use the last four digits of your social security number simply because you do not have your WI Driver's License with you. Failure to provide a WI Driver's License number if you have been issued one will result in a delay of processing the application until the information is provided.

All voters  wishing to register must provide a proof of residence when registering to vote.  Acceptable proof of residence documents include: valid WI Driver's License, utility bill, bank statement, paycheck, real estate bill, residential lease document, or any other government-issued document including the voter's name and address.  A complete list can be found on the second page/ backside of your registration application.

There are several ways you can register to vote:
